A dusting of snow had just fallen, and the wind was… noticeable. At first it was only noticeable in a bad way, what with the wind chill, but once I got to a more open part of my commute, I started noticing the wind pushing the new snow around in elegant little curls, which would be intermittently illuminated by nearby streetlights, buildings’ exterior lights, passing cars…
I decided to try to capture it. I pulled over to the side of a fairly quiet patch of road and waited a bit…

I took FOURTEEN shots of this patch of road, and this is the one that came closest to showing some movement (a little, in the far lane) and wasn’t visibly crooked.
My thought at the time was that I’d waited too long, that an earlier section of road with slightly heavier traffic and more building lights would have given me more chances to catch something decent. Either that or i continue to suck at capturing motion.
…which left me with another snow texture, except less strikingly lit, terribly framed, and not even close to my intent.
