Ray of Infamy

I can tell it’s November by the way, over the past few weeks, that Christmas music has started to crop up on the radio.

I had the radio on at work a few days ago and I was cringing before I consciously knew why, when a few seconds of Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s one famous song played during a commercial.

“Carol of the Bells” is a good Christmas song, and that is an objectively good derivative of it, but I can’t be objective about a song I’ve heard approximately 77,000 times even if it wasn’t part the remorseless slow spread of Christmas across the entire calendar.
