An instance of journalistic integrity
So I saw this:

Oh. Still a typically clownish thing for Trump to say in a disaster-response speech, but not quite as clownish as it was originally described.
I saw this corrective info because the original reporter, Christina Wilkie, retweeted it and then paraphrased it in a tweet of her own.
And I was pleased.
I wasn’t pleased that Trump beclowned himself — that’s normal. I was pleased that a journalist with an obvious anti-Trump stance would let the facts ruin a good anti-Trump anecdote, instead of letting the narrative stand, facts be damned.
Integrity is too rare not to be applauded when it appears.
