I saw this on the way to work one day, and assumed that it had been knocked over by a car (and that the rest had already been hauled off). And, since I had a minute to spare, I decided to document it.

I also decided to compose it in this way deliberately, with the space where the pole should have been the only vertical or horizontal line. I figured it’d convey a sense of entropy, like a kind of Dutch angle. What it conveys instead is that I was in too much of a hurry and have no idea how to use a camera, which is only half true.
